Gore.‘s video for their new single “Lead Me To The Slaughter” has just made its way to the internet. The melodic metalcore band have already debuted that track live, with fan-filmed footage of it available below as well. The group took on directing the video themselves and had the following to say about the meaning behind the track:
“This song is about being indoctrinated into a cult, and idolizing what kills you. Idolatry is rampant beyond human repair with social media — we now look at people like they’re gods. We idolize money, fame, and beauty more now than we ever have as a society. These idols will lead us to nothing but guilt, shame, and suffering.”
At the moment, Gore. are winding down a run with Kittie and will be out across Europe and the UK this fall with I Prevail, Polaris and Amira Elfeky:
