SAVE US will have their debut album “Death To Something” out via Solid State Records on October 16th. The transcontinental alternative metal band had The Plot In You‘s Landon Tewers handle the production duties for that effort. The title track to the record has just debuted, along with a video to accompany it.

That song came about at the tailend of the sessions for this upcoming new record, as vocalist Miguel Owls revealed:

“‘Death To Something‘ was the last song we wrote with Landon, and it ended up giving the record its name. Lyrically, it was inspired by my newborn son. The message is simple but powerful: Sometimes there has to be a death to your old life in order to build a better one for the people you love. On this track, I dive into the struggles and hardships of my past, and how I had to finally cut the ties that kept weighing me down. It’s raw, personal, and honestly one of the most meaningful songs I’ve ever written.”
