The organizers behind this year’s ‘post.‘ festival have reached out to fans for support amid increasingly challenging times in the live entertainment industry. According to a statement issued last week, this year’s event has been struggling to break even amid growing costs associated with touring and live events. This year’s event has been scheduled for July 23rd-25th at the Hi-Fi and Hi-Fi Annex in Indianapolis, IN and will feature the likes of Torche, Kylesa, Rolo Tomassi, The Armed and more.
“We need your help.
As many of you know, the current economic and political climate has been incredibly tough on people, artists, and small businesses. It’s something we’re all feeling and, unfortunately, it’s impacting Post. Festival in a very real way.
To be completely transparent, we are struggling to reach our break-even point this year. There are a lot of reasons for that—rising travel costs, unreasonable gas prices, crippling visa delays, nagging uncertainty about the future—and we truly understand the struggle. We are now at a pivotal moment where we need to ask for your support.
To help us get through this year and keep Post. Festival alive for the future, we’re making a few changes
and asking for your help:
- We have adjusted Thursday to now be an indoor-only show, available to all 3-day and Thursday pass holders. Final line up to be announced!
- If you plan on coming, please consider buying your tickets now. Early purchases help us cover upfront costs and make this weekend everything it’s meant to be.
- Can’t make it this year, but want to support the festival and community? You can help by grabbing merch or dropping a small donation. Every
dollar truly matters. Check out our website for merch available- first drop available now!If Post. Festival has ever meant something to you, this is the year to show it. Share it. Support it. Spread the word. Post about it! We need our community more than ever. Post. Festival IS happening come hell or high water- see you all in July!”
