Korn Accused Of Using AI In Product Mockups For Their "Issues" Plush Dolls

Nü-metal pioneers Korn have ran into some controversy with their latest merch offering. As part of an collection celebrating their 3x platinum fourth studio album, “Issues“, the group have released a blind box line of four different keychain dolls. Each are styled after the doll featured upon one of the several variant covers for that 1999 record.

While some fans may run into problems successfully collecting all four variants, immediate concerns of fans seem to be focused on the alleged usage of AI when it came to the product mockups hosted for the boxes of these dolls on their official website.

Fans of the band on Reddit were quick to decry the various elements of misspelling and garbled text synonymous with AI slop. While presumably these mistakes didn’t make it to the actual print of the boxes themselves for the plush keychains, the usage of AI at all in music and art remains a prickly issue.
