Fuming Mouth‘s brand new single “A Blaze Of Nihilism” has arrived online with a surprise roster addition. The crusty death metal/hardcore outfit were spotted at GodCity Studio in Salem, MA back in May of 2025 with ex-Slipknot/Suicidal Tendencies drummer Jay Weinberg. Given that studio is the home base of Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou, he was also in pictured in those sessions.
With drummer Keith Goldoni having been healing from a fractured ankle at the time, it was thought that Weinberg may be guesting behind the kit during some previously booked studio time. However it would appear his involvement was far more extensive than that. Ballou of course handled the production duties on this new song. Weinberg can be seen behind the kit in the below new music video for this latest single, which was directed by Midvessel. He also holds a writing credit on that song and will appear throughout their new record.
Speaking of which, this track is the lead single from the group’s forthcoming new album “The Ringing Bell“, due out July 17th on Triple B Records.
