Darkest Hour have announced that tracking for their eleventh studio album has concluded. In a post shared on their guitarist Mike Schleibaum‘s social media yesterday, June 03rd, the Swedish melodeath-inspired metalcore vets revealed that news. Those sessions took place with producer Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Cannibal Corpse). Darkest Hour also re-signed with MNRK Heavy ahead of hitting the studio for this record. Here’s what Schleibaum had to say:
“WE DID IT!!! We’ve completed the tracking of our 11th studio album!
Thank you so much to producer Mark Lewis who lent us his talent, patience, and guidance as we crafted what we feel like is one of our best records yet!
Can’t wait for you all to jam this!!
Thank you so much to everyone at MNRK HEAVY RECORDS for believing in us and supporting this band once again on this release.
Also shout out to our Patreons who have helped fund this awesomeness and have been there for every step Did some live streaming for them, got lots of BHTS to share and will be hooking them up hard! Subscribe today to follow along.
Mark is now gonna mix and then we are all gonna pit!
New music on the way soon…album 11 is alive!”
