Multi-platinum post-grunge band Puddle Of Mudd have run through numerous members over the years, with frontman Wes Scantlin being the only constant. Wikipedia lists 18 former members of the group at the moment, and one could likely presume that high turnover rate has been impacted by Scantlin‘s various bouts of erratic behavior over the years.
Now comes word that a pair of ex-members of the group have since went on to form a Puddle Of Mudd covers band they’ve dubbed X-Mudds. Guitarist/vocalist Matt Fuller and drummer Dave Moreno are behind that trio, which is fronted by Gabe Maska who has served as the frontman in the Nirvana tribute band Come As Nirvana.
Both Fuller and Moreno had multiple stints in Puddle Of Mudd, most notably serving in the band together from 2013-2023. X-Mudds have been promoted thus far as, “THE TOURING MEMBERS. THE MUSIC. THE REAL DEAL. The musicians who powered Puddle of Mudd for 10 years are back!!”
