Viscera Crown are maintaining their provocative nature with their latest merch offering. The brutal death metal quartet, who emerged in 2025 and include Brandon Watkins of Year Of The Knife and Ryan Giordano of Internal Bleeding among their ranks, have openly waged war on what they proclaim ‘weak riff’ bands. This past March, Viscera Crown proclaimed on social media that southern metalcore band Gideon “sucks dick“. Viscera Crown made that post to promoting the release of their own debut EP, “Extreme Groove Brutality“.
Their latest target is popular metalcore band Kublai Khan TX. Viscera Crown have newly shared a mockup of a shirt that proclaims “We Kill Kublai Khan Fans”. Kublai Khan TX have remained divisive in recent years for several reasons, however the most prominent complaint to be lodged against the band stems from their vocalist Matt Honeycutt‘s alleged friendship with controversial figure Johnny Tsunami. While Honeycutt has seemingly never publicly commented on the matter, you can get a primer on the drama surrounding that apparent association via this episode of the Hardcore Dropout channel.
However, per commentary in Viscera Crown‘s new post unveiling this shirt on social media today, May 30th, the group indicated that they were targeting Kublai Khan TX for their “trash music.” Several exchanges with fans in that below Viscera Crown post outlined that stance, including this one:

While the shirt itself is not yet available, another comment made by Viscera Crown on the below post noted that it will be going up for purchase in a few weeks time.
