Boundaries have begun streaming “Only endless” from their approaching new album “Yearning: the unbeautiful after“. The Hartford, CT-based metalcore band had director Errick Easterday (Wage War, 156/Silence) behind the camera for the shoot. Vocalist Matt McDougal took the time to provide some commentary of the intent behind this track, stating:
“Much of the record poses questions to listeners, probing if they identify with the sentiment of what’s been said and why they do or don’t. ‘Only endless‘ doesn’t ask anything of the listener. It describes a feeling. You can take what you will from it.”
“Yearning: the unbeautiful after” will be the band’s first release through Sumerian Records and had a bit of a rocky launch after fans decried the initial mix offered of the lead single, “Skies cast amber black“. The group responded by issuing an alternate mix of the track.
The full record will be out July 17th. Earlier today, May 28th, Boundaries announced another tour in support of it, having been booked as the opening act on this fall North American tour with Knocked Loose, Denzel Curry and Superheaven.
