Digital release dates have been set for a pair of newly remastered Meshuggah albums. Both the 30th anniversary edition of the Swedish metal extremists’ 1995 sophomore album “Destroy Erase Improve“, and the likewise remastered 20th anniversary edition of their fifth studio album, 2005’s “Catch Thirtythree“, have now been slated for a July 24th release via Reigning Phoenix Music.
Those sonically revamped versions originally arrived this past April on vinyl pressings limited to 1600 copies each as part of this year’s ‘Record Store Day‘. While no additional tracks are featured, you can now stream the newly enhanced versions of “Future Breed Machine” from “Destroy Erase Improve” and the “Shed” from “Catch Thirtythree“.
Reigning Phoenix Music have been releasing remastered anniversary editions of key releases from the band’s catalog over the past few years, with Thomas Eberger and Sofia von Hage taking on the remastering duties.
