Manchester, UK crossover band have partnered with Adidas for an upcoming limited edition pair of Superstar II shoes that feature branding from the band. That pairing is being launched on June 06th, a day after the group drop their brand new album “Armour Of Angels” via Roadrunner Records. Drummer Tom Aimson told Hype Beast of this new collaboration:
“Adidas is ingrained in our culture. Being from the north of England, you see the brand in music, football and beyond because it’s what people relate to the most around here. We’re honored to be working with them on a shoe, especially the Superstar II.”
He was also quoted as saying:
“Superstars were everywhere when we were kids. Seeing Korn, Slipknot and all the other megal bands wearing them in the late ’90s-early ’00s was a massive influence as well as the general Manchester style.”
