After an apparently rather brief stint with SharpTone, post-hardcore band Excide have locked in a new label deal. The group have just announced their signing with Papercut Recordings, less than a year after releasing their sophomore studio album “Bastard Hymns” via SharpTone.
Papercut Recordings was co-founded last summer by Brand Of Sacrifice guitarist Michael Leo Valeri (also the founder of Shibori Threads) and Fit For A King bassist/vocalist Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary (also of Beacon Management, etc.). As of press time, there’s no word yet on Excide’s future release plans.
