Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith was back in the presence of his long-time doppelgänger, actor/comedian, etc. Will Ferrell this weekend. The two lookalikes’ latest face-off came about during Ferrell‘s opening monologue last night, May 16th, on the season 51 finale of ‘Saturday Night Live‘.
Ferrell himself hosted the episode. though Smith might have you believe otherwise.. Ferrell of course was a former cast member of the long-running sketch comedy/variety show. You can watch this latest union of the aforementioned pair below.
Smith himself later joined some rock royalty onstage, backing musical guest Paul McCartney on drums during a later on. This newest entry in the saga of Ferrell & Smith follows their past numerous encounters. which have included a series of drum-offs and more, usually staged to raise funds for charity.
