Deathcore outfit Carnifex have secured themselves a new label home with Sumerian Records. Solidifying this new partnership is the below debut of a music video for a brand new track from the band, “Roses & Rotting Corpses“. The visuals for this new offering were shot with director Midvessel. Carnifex said of this new track:
“We’ve entered a new era of Carnifex, and I couldn’t be happier to do it with Sumerian Records. Carnifex and the team at Sumerian have parallel histories going back nearly two decades, so to finally be working together on what will arguably be our best album is an incredible feeling. Our new song ‘Roses & Rotting Corpses’ is just the beginning of this next chapter.”
Carnifex‘s decision to throw in with Sumerian Records follows an over decade-long run with Nuclear Blast. This news also arrives just as the band’s run now serving as a co-headliner for this year’s ‘Chaos & Carnage Tour‘ has begun to pick up steam.
With Thy Art Is Murder having been forced to bow out of headlining that trek due to a medical emergency, both Carnifex and Bodysnatcher were bumped up to co-headliner status. 200 Stab Wounds, Ingested, Gates To Hell and Bodybox round out that bill, with the following dates remaining:
