AVTT/PTTN, the unexpected side project uniting bluegrass/folk rock outfit The Avett Brothers with alternative metal icon Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, etc.), were back on the late night talk show circuit last night, May 06th. The band were musical guest on the latest episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘, performing their track “Disappearing“. That song is taken their self-titled debut album that came out last November.
While the original musical output of AVTT/PTTN falls pretty squarely in Americana/folk territory, the supergroup have been playing Faith No More & Mr. Bungle tracks live amid their spring touring. That trek kicks up again tomorrow, May 08th in San Francisco, CA.
