If, like many, you are planning a virtual trip to Japan later this month with the May 19th launch of ‘Forza Horizon 6‘, you’ll have some notable heavier songs included to soundtrack your journey. The in-game radio stations have just been announced for that game, and continue a long trend of harboring a few metalcore favorites. Longtime fans of the series might even remember that Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley served as an in-game radio DJ back in ‘Forza Horizon 3‘.
Given the game’s locale, the inclusion of BABYMETAL & ONE OK ROCK and others is a no brainer. However, this new instalment of the popular arcade racer will also sport tracks from melodic hardcore favs Turnstile, diamond-certified rap rockers Linkin Park, platinum-certified prog rockers Coheed And Cambria, gold-certified alternative metal outfit Spiritbox and even a return visit from metalcore/pop-punk group A Day To Remember.
Fans of heavier music will want to tune into the Horizon XS station in the game, which will sport the following track listing:
- A Day To Remember – “Bad Blood“
- BABYMETAL – “ー白炎ー (White Flame)“
- Sleep Theory – “III“
- Rise Against – “I Want It All“
- Biffy Clyro – “Friendshipping“
