Alternative metal mavericks Deftones have gotten into the donut game in conjunction with their ongoing Australian tour with Interpol and Ecca Vandal. Hector’s Bakery & Kiosk in the region have launched an officially approved tres leches donut named after “Milk Of The Madonna” — the second single to be launched from Deftones‘ latest album “private music“. That treat will only be available from May 04th to 10th. Deftones‘ aforementioned run down under, which will close out with a stop in New Zealand, continues as follows:
05/03 Sydney, AUS – Qudos Bank Arena
05/06 Brisbane, AUS – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
05/07 Brisbane, AUS – Brisbane Entertainment Centre
05/09 Melbourne, AUS – Rod Laver Arena
05/10 Melbourne, AUS – Rod Laver Arena
05/13 Auckland, NZ – Spark Arena
Notably the May 02nd kickoff date of that run in Sydney, Australia saw Deftones give a live debut to “Departing The Body“, a song which closes out “private music“. Fan-filmed footage of that first live airing can be seen below:
