The Agonist will be releasing a new EP by the name of “The Escape” both online via CMdistro.com and at the stops of their upcoming North American tour. The effort will feature the two new songs “Lonely Solipsist” and “The Escape” – both of which will eventually surface on the groups new album.
While the EP will originally be made available in physical formats, a digital version is planned to surface sometime after the aforementioned tour. Speaking of touring, lead guitarist Danny Marino will be unable to make the impending trek. In turn, Justin Deguire (ex-The Catalyst) has been tapped to fill in on rhythm guitar, while the bands own Pascal “Paco” Jobin will step up to lead guitars for the duration.
The bands as-yet untitled new album will land in stores early next year via Century Media while some studio footage from the sessions for it can be found below:
