No/Más‘ cover of the Bad Brains classic “Banned In D.C.” has newly received a digital release. You can currently give the aforementioned D.C. grindcore band’s rendition of that pivotal early 80s punk track a listen below. You can also get your hands on a physical copy of it as an exclusive flexi disc with the May 2026 issue of Decibel magazine. Bad Brains originally penned the track in response to being barred from playing at various D.C. venues due to concerns over their raucous live performances and the rowdy audiences the band’s concerts attracted amid the burgeoning hardcore and punk scenes. No/Más released their latest album “No Peace” last month on March 13th.
