Thrash metal legends Slayer have played a total of 8 shows since returning to active duty in 2024,. By the end of the year, at least 4 more dates will be added to that total. The vaunted group have just unveiled a pair of new shows in California and Minnesota. What’s more, these dates will serve as 40th anniversary celebrations for the group’s highly influential third studio album, 1986’s “Reign In Blood“. Full album performances are expected at each of these two new shows.

First up, the storied outfit will be playing that landmark album at the Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, MN on September 04th with sludge metal supergroup Down, crossover vets Suicidal Tendencies & metalcore pillar Hatebreed opening, and then again at Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA on November 13th. Opening sets on the second date will come from death metal lifers Cannibal Corpse, the Cavalera brothers (covering Sepultura’s “Chaos A.D.”), and rising sludge metal stars, Crowbar. Tickets for these new dates will be available as follows:

Citi Presale: Tuesday, 4/21 at 12pm Local Time
Artist Presale: Wednesday, 4/22 at 10am Local Time (PW: RIB2026)
