Southpaw FLHC‘s new album, “The Standard“, has been mapped out for a July 31st release on Spinefarm. The Floridian hardcore band (in case you somehow missed that abbreviation) have just released a video for their song “Rolling Stone” to complement the announcement of this record. The band stated of that single:

“‘Rolling Stone‘ leans into the reality of living a fast life on the road in pursuit of chasing your purpose. “Losing loved ones and pieces of yourself along the way are part of the game. In the process of moving towards your purpose, the climb feels never ending, yet time continues on. But as a man, you must walk that line in order to create your own path and legacy. In honor of frontman Daryn Lamontagne‘s grandfather. Rest in power, Pops.”

Touching briefly on the album, the quartet added, “All gas, no brakes. Driven by hunger, discipline, and a relentless passion for the love of the game. This is The Standard.”
