Nevermore have released some official live footage of their return to the stage earlier this month. The progressive metal band played their first show since 2011 on April 01st, 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey. That show also served as a proper live introduction to their newly overhauled lineup.
That revamped roster is the culmination of band’s guitarist Jeff Loomis and drummer Van Williams setting out to rebuild the band in 2024 via open auditions. With vocalist Warrel Dane having passed away back in 2017, much of the fan’s curiosity was centered around who would be able to fill his role.
Loomis and Williams wound up choosing Berzan Önen (Inner Urge, My Torment, etc.) to front the b and, with the choice largely being positively received so far. Other newcomers included guitarist Jack Cattoi and bassist Semir Özerka (Oceans of Slumber, Necrofier, etc.).
