Melodic hardcore outfit Good Teal have added a cover of Rage Against The Machine‘s infamous 1992 anti-police brutality anthem “Killing In The Name” to their live arsenal. The New Jersey natives have highlighted the below fan-filmed footage of themselves performing a rendition of that incendiary track live at the Blkbrn in Highland Park, NJ this past Friday, April 03rd. Good Teal‘s set took place that day in part to host the filming of a new music video, with more details to come.
Decades removed from its release, “Killing In The Name” remains an enduring protest anthem to this day, having hit 1 billion plays on Spotify in January of 2025. Good Teal released their self-titled debut EP last August and are next booked to play the 2026 ‘Break Free Fest‘ at the Ukie Club in Philadelphia, PA on June 14th, marking their first time in the city.
