Hard rock titans Guns N’ Roses had a setlist rarity in store for those who attended the band’s headlining set yesterday, April 04th as part of the ‘Monsters Of Rock‘ festival in São Paulo, Brazil. That fest was held at the Allianz Parque, with the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Extreme, Halestorm, Yngwie Malmsteem and more also on the bill.
Guns N’ Roses closed out the night with a sprawling 24-song set that featured their various hits, the requisite covers of Wings & Bob Dylan staples, and more. However, three songs before wrapping up the night, the group dug deep into their catalog and delivered the first live performance of “Bad Apples” since 1991.
That non-single first appeared on their third studio album, 1991’s 7x multi-platinum “Use Your Illusion I“. It was previously documented as having last been played twice in 1991, including once at ‘Rock In Rio‘ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and another time in Los Angeles back in May of that year.
Guns N’ Roses ‘current Latin American touring has seen them down a member, with keyboardist/vocalist Melissa Reese staying home due to ‘unforeseen personal reasons’. The remaining dates of that run are scheduled to play out as follows:
04/07 Sao Jose do Rio Preto, BRA – Alberto Bertelli Lucatto
