Machine Head vocalist/guitarist Robb Flynn joined Ignite onstage recently for a live rendition of “Bleeding“. That song originally appeared on the latter melodic hardcore punk band’s 2006 album “Our Darkest Days“. Machine Head have a lengthy history with the track, having actually went on to cover both “Bleeding” and “Our Darkest Days” back in 2014 for a Record Store Day exclusive single.
The Oakland, CA groove/thrash metal outfit have also since performed “Bleeding ” live with former Ignite vocalist Zoli Teglas. Below you can see footage of Flynn newly joining up with the Eli Santana-fronted era of Ignite, as filmed amid their ongoing European tour. Flynn stated on social media of his time onstage:
“We covered this song about 12 years ago… last night I got to get up there and sing it with them. Full circle moment. Truly honored.”
