Mammoth engaged in some onstage April Fool’s Day antics yesterday, April 01st. Thanks to some commentary from the band’s frontman Wolfgang Van Halen, fans in attendance were duped into the possibility that he would be revisiting the works of his late father’s (Eddie Van Halen) band Van Halen — a group Wolfgang himself served as a touring member o. Instead, the alternative rocker opted for the ol’ Rick Roll, busting into a partial rendition of Rick Astley‘s infamous 1987 hit “Never Gonna Give You Up“.
