Slayer guitarist Kerry King is due to head back into the studio this April to lay down his sophomore ‘solo’ album. Word of the esteemed thrash guitarist’s plans come about via talent agency Independent Artist Group, whom King, Slayer and Mastodon all recently aligned with.
King launched his eponymous project back in 2024 with his debut album “From Hell I Rise“. Joining him in that venture are fellow Slayer veteran Paul Bostaph on drums, while Death Angel‘s Mark Osegueda, guitarist Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head/Vio-lence) and bassist Kyle Sanders (HELLYEAH, bloodsimple.).
