UADA‘s cover of Rome‘s “Der Brandtaucher” from their upcoming acoustic release, “Interwoven“. That album finds the black metal outfit revisiting their catalog in a stripped down fashion, while also tackling some songs that helped to inspire them. The band collectively stated of landing on this song:
“Originally composed by Jerome Reuter and Patrick Damiani, this rendition was the final track chosen for ‘Interwoven‘. Having followed Rome since 2008’s ‘Masse Mensch Material‘, ‘Der Brandtaucher‘ held deep personal resonance, especially during the most difficult chapter of my life. Its inclusion was not simply artistic – it was necessary.”
“Interwoven” is scheduled to receive an April 10th release on Eisenwald Records.
