Californian industrial rockers HEALTH have released another new remix EP that reimagines various tracks from their latest album “CONFLICT DLC” and more. Following last month’s arrival of “R-TYPE I” comes, “R-TYPE II“. If you’re unaware, ‘R-Type‘ is also the name of a long-running video game series that first launched back in 1987. Continuing with the numerous nods to video games interwoven into their craft, HEALTH bassist/programmer John Famiglietti said of this latest collection:
“If RAT WARS is ELDEN RING and CONFLICT DLC is SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE, then R-TYPE has to be NIGHTREIGN. Enjoy these remixes and alternate versions by the best in the business: from the dance floor to the killing floor, these interesante interpretations will thrill and excite you and your family in the year of the FIRE HORSE!”
