A new officially backed documentary on new wave of British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden will be opening in UK theaters on May 07th. That film, titled ‘Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition‘, was directed by Malcom Venville (‘Churchill At War‘, ‘44 Inch Chest‘). Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on March 18th.
Outside of participation from the band and their longtime manager Rod Smallwood, Metallica‘s Lars Ulrich, Public Enemy‘s Chuck D and actor Javier Bardem also appear via interviews in the film. The official synopsis reads as follows:
‘With unprecedented access to official band archives, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition charts five decades of one of the most iconic journeys in music history.
