The Recording Academy have newly issued the below official live footage of a tribute to late heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne that was staged during this year’s GRAMMY Awards. An all-star roster hit the stage during that February 01st awards show at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA.
Aired as part of the annual ‘In Memoriam’ segment honoring those in the music world lost in the year prior, a collective of past Ozzy Osbourne collaborators, including diamond-certified rap/country star Post Malone, Guns N Roses‘ guitarist Slash and bassist/vocalist Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and Ozzy Osbourne producer/musician Andrew Watt, all took part in a rousing rendition of Black Sabbath‘s 1970 anti-war protest, “War Pigs“.
Several members of the Osbourne family were in attendance for that performance and were visually moved to tears. Ozzy sadly passed away on July 22nd, 2025 following a heart attack and a lengthy battle with illness.
