Sleep Token‘s latest studio album “Even In Arcadia” has officially attained gold status in the United States. The RIAA bestowed that honor upon the masked alternative metal band yesterday, January 26th. This marks their second time taking home some precious metal in the United States, with their past single “The Summoning” going on gold back in December of 2024.
Their fourth studio album overall, “Even In Arcadia” arrived with much hype and fanfare, making Billboard chart history during its opening week on the charts last May. That record opened atop the Billboard 200 with a staggering 127,000 album-equivalent units shifted during its first week of availability. “Even In Arcadia” already notched up gold status in the band’s native UK this past December.
*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
