Sevendust guitarist/vocalist Clint Lowery can be heard guesting on a new faith-based track from Ignescent. Lowery has been vocal about embracing Christianity as of late and this newly issued collaboration apparently served as an extension of religious journey.
The song itself is titled “Chariot Of Fire” and is taken from Ignescent‘s new album “Eternal“, due out March 20th. A music video for this pairing has been posted below. Lowery said of working with the group:
“At the time I was asked to collaborate with Ignescent, I was truly building my relationship with Christ, in the beginning stages, the timing was perfect. Jennifer sent a melody she had and I built on that, a true offering to God in most humbling way.”
Ignescent vocalist Jennifer Benson added:
“The song is about God rushing in to rescue us when we’re surrounded and out of strength – a reminder that He never abandons us. He comes for us.”
