A twelfth studio album from chart-topping hard rockers Foo Fighters appears to be in line for a 2026 release. The band’s frontman Dave Grohl confirmed the news while onstage last night, January 24th, in Launceston, Australia. During some downtime amid that set, Grohl addressed the audience that the band would be returning to Australia/New Zealand before his next birthday in January of 2027.
He further went on to tease, “and we might have whole new record of f*cking songs that we just finished the other day” by the time he and his bandmates return down under. Further details for this follow-up to 2023’s “But Here We Are” were not provided.
