A new track titled “Time Bomb” from industrial nü-metallers Amerakin Overdose was shared by the band today, January 23rd. An official music video directed by Drumwell Media emerges alongside it. As with other recent output from the group, this track features production from Spineshank vocalist Jonny Santos, while Nikolas Roy Quemtri also sat behind the boards. Tauren Blackman added guest vocals to this track.
Speaking on the song’s lyrical inspiration, Amerakin Overdose vocalist Cody Perez offered:
“‘Time Bomb‘ is a raw exploration of the internal war we fight when pressure, trauma, and expectation collide. The song lives inside the mind of someone running on an invisible clock, holding everything together while feeling dangerously close to unraveling. Thoughts go unspoken, emotions stay buried, and the past becomes the only thing others seem to recognize, even as the real self remains unseen beneath the surface.
As the verses unfold, opposing forces clash: angel and devil, saint and sinner, love and hate. These contradictions represent the constant voices in the head—judgment, temptation, righteousness, and rage—each pulling for control. Every setback, every unaddressed wound, adds weight, tightening the fuse and feeding the growing urge to finally snap.
‘Time Bomb‘ captures that moment of restraint right before release—the choice between control and chaos, silence and eruption. Whether it’s about mental health, identity, societal pressure, or personal demons, the song leaves space for interpretation, asking one central question: How long can someone keep holding on before they explode?”
