Pro-shot footage of Rage Against The Machine‘s headlining set at the May 27th, 1996 date of the ‘Pinkpop‘ festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands has newly been shared online by the festival’s archival channel. The Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers delivered a twelve-song set during their time onstage at the festival that year. They also welcomed a fellow politically active future Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer in Public Enemy‘s Chuck D onstage for a rendition of the then unreleased “Zapata’s Blood” and a cover of the Public Enemy track “Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos“. Years later Chuck D and 3/4th of Rage Against The Machine would go on to form Prophets Of Rage together.
