A March 06th release date has been slated for Filth‘s new EP “Welcome To Shell Town“. Fans eager to hear what the North Carolinian deathcore/hip-hop hybrid have been cooking up will be able to check out the new single “Outta Pocket” on January 30th. For now, guitarist David Gantt revealed the inspiration for this EP’s title came from their hometown of Shelby, NC. He said of that:
“‘Shell Town‘ is us leaning deeper into what shaped us, the music, the environment, and the mindset that came out of growing up in Shelby. This EP is a reflection of where we’re from and why Filth sounds the way it does.”
