Tom Morello Calls Out Trump Administration Over Alleged "Nazi Mass Murder Slogan"

Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Tom Morello has called out the U.S. Department Of Homeland Security and the Trump administration over their alleged usage of a ‘Nazi mass murder slogan’. The Rage Against The Machine guitarist and lifelong political activist took issue with the usage of the phrase “one of ours, all of yours” appearing on the podium for Kristi Noem, who currently serves as the United States Secretary of Homeland Security. The picture Morello shared was taken during during a January 08th, 2025 press conference related to the ICE-involved shooting of Renee Good.

As Morello put it on his social media today, January 12th:

“BREAKING: Today the Trump admin quoted the Nazi mass murder slogan, “One of ours, all of yours.” Coined when an SS officer was killed and the Nazis murdered every male resident of the village in response. If there are any MAGA left after THIS, you have made an irrevocable choice.”

Morello added on X:

Kristi Noam, Nazi slogan on podium today. “One of ours, all of yours.” WW2 SS officer killed, Nazis retaliated—One of ours, all of yours. The Victims:
•Men: Over 170 shot on the spot; others later executed in Prague.
•Women: Roughly 200 were deported to Ravensbrück concentration camp, where many died.
•Children: Most were separated from their mothers; 82 were gassed at the Chelmno extermination camp. A few deemed “racially pure” were taken for “Germanization” by SS families.
•The Obliteration: The village was burned, buildings were dynamited, and the area was bulldozed and replanted to literally erase it from the map.

This isn’t the only time Morello has pointed out sloganeering by the current administration for alleged Nazi overtones in recent weeks. Morello has also reposted several posts on social media platform X that have been critical of the slogans used by the current Trump Administration on social media over the past week or two. Pressed for comment by Billboard on the use of the slogan found on the podium mentioned above, a representative for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security responded:

“Calling everything you dislike ‘Nazi propaganda’ is tiresome. DHS will continue to use all tools to communicate with the American people and keep them informed on our historic effort to Make America Safe Again.”

Morello has been extremely critical of the tactics and approach currently being employed by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement over the past year, attending protests and partaking in anti-ICE activism. While frequently criticized by Republicans, Morello has in the past been critical of both major political parties in the United States.

This past November saw Morello launch a line of politically-oriented t-shirts that included the slogans, ‘Destroy American Fascism’, ‘Deport Racists’, ‘Nazi Lives Don’t Matter’. ‘Arrest The President’ and more.
