Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake have offloaded another new track from their upcoming guest-filled new album “The Weight Of Sound“. For this latest track, the band recruited the guest vocal talents of Myke Terry (Volumes/Fire From The Gods, ex-Bury Your Dead, etc.). That song is titled “Neversleep” and is streaming below. As for “The Weight Of Sound“, Century Media will have it out on January 23rd. Guitarist YD commented of this new cut:
“This track is the one where I poured in the Hardcore/Metal/Punk elements that I’ve carried as my own background to the limit. It’s simple, but with an extra twist, and at times hybrid arrangements, updating it into the kind of extreme sound that represents the current Crystal Lake. Every part of the song is made for you to dance, so don’t think too much — just feel it and enjoy. Stay heavy.”
As mentioned above, the band are joined by a wealth of heavy hitters on that record, including members of Killswitch Engage, Misery Signals, and Signs Of The Swarm. Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer/Seven Hours After Violet can also be heard on the album, appearing on the previously released track “BlüdGod“.
