Alternative metal band Evanescence will be performing live at this year’s ‘The Game Awards‘. That annual awards show celebrating the best and brightest the video game industry had to offer in 2025 will be held at The Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA on December 11th. The aforementioned diamond-certified outfit will be performing their track “Afterlife” at the awards ceremony.
That song was penned for the Netflix animated adaptation of the long-running ‘Devil May Cry‘ video game franchise. It appears that Evanescence‘s impending performance of the song may coincide with the reveal of word of the second season of that animated series.
Evanescence weren’t the only stars to to have their music tied into season one of ‘Devil May Cry‘. Tracks from Rage Against The Machine, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach and Crazy Town were also featured.
