French progressive metallers Gojira unleashed a literal giant inflatable flying whale overtop of their audience during their headlining set at the Accor Arena in Paris, France last night, November 30th. Of course, the GRAMMY Award-winning outfit waited for the perfect time to let that airborne marine mammal loose, timing its reveal with the start of their 2005 track, “Flying Whales“. Fan-filmed footage of that impressive prop can be seen below, along with a clip shared by the band themselves.
Gojira are currently making their way through a tour of their native France, which due to a hand injury suffered by frontman Joe Duplantier, has found them augmented onstage by Car Bomb guitarist Greg Kubacki.
