Anthony Vincent, the chameleon-like musician behind the ‘Ten Second songs’ series, recently shared his take on System Of A Down‘s 5x multi-platinum 2001 hit, “Chop Suey!“. Per fan suggestions, he undertook that cover in the vein of literal hard rock royalty, Queen.
That rendition made its way to the ears of none other than Queen guitarist, Sir Brian May. The 78-year-old rock legend left a comment on Vincent‘s below post unveiling that cover, it read:
“This is a truly fine piece of work — sincere respects to you, Anthony. What a talent ! Magnificent singing in all your posts, but this one takes the lid off !!! Bri“
Vincent replied back in his Instagram stories, “This is truly an honor, thank you so much.”
