Canadian dubstep, etc. musician Excision has a long track record of partnering with artists from the heavier scene, including pairings with Korn, The Devil Wears Prada, I Prevail and more. One of his latest tracks, “Raise The Dead“, adds Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer/Seven Hours After Violet fame to the roster.
The song is part of Excision‘s collaborative new EP with Sullivan King, another dubstep musician with a penchant for working with heavier artists. This cut is the title track to that outing, which also finds King and Excision further exploring metal-related vibes, as evidenced by the below track “Four Dollar Bill“.
That song has some obvious nods to Limp Bizkit, complete with samples of Fred Durst. Members of From Ashes To New also guest on this 6-song effort, which saw a release yesterday, November 25th.
