Multi-platinum thrash metal innovators Megadeth have announced their plans to take their farewell touring up north in the new year. Dave Mustaine and co. will be heading across Canada in February and March with support from fellow veteran thrash metal outfits, Anthrax and Exodus. Presales will be launching tomorrow, November 26th at 10:00am local time. The general onsale will take place this Friday, November 28th at 10:00am local time.

As revealed by Megadeth vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine this past August, 2026 will see the band embark on their farewell tour in 2026. That run is expected to last roughly 3 to 5 years and will be staged on the back of their upcoming final studio album. That self-titled outing is scheduled for a January 23rd release and will feature a cover of the Mustaine co-written Metallica track “Ride The Lightning“.
