Pathology have checked in with an update from the recording sessions for their thirteenth studio album. According a post shared on the San Diego, CA-based death metallers’ social media, the recording sessions for that album are winding down with a 2026 release date expected. This new full-length from the outfit has endured a lengthy gestation period, as writing sessions for it had nearly been finished last February. Here’s what the band stated of their latest progress this past Monday, November 10th:
“Pathology has been hard at work crafting our 13th studio album! Most of the recording is complete, and we’re putting intense focus on every detail to make sure this one stands above the rest.
We can confidently say this new record is a major step up from our previous material — fans of our 2012 release The Time of Great Purification are definitely going to be pleased.
