Pro-shot footage of Toni Cornell honoring her late father Chris Cornell at last weekend’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame proceedings has newly been unveiled. Toni, the 21-year-old daughter of the aforementioned late Soundgarden frontman, delivered a stirring rendition of “Fell On Black Days“. That song was the final single to be released from Soundgarden‘s fourth studio album, the 6x multi-platinum “Superunknown“. Toni‘s stripped-down take on the song also featured acoustic guitar from Nancy Williams of Heart, along with an additional string arrangement.
Toni‘s performance was a part of Soundgarden‘s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony, which took place last Saturday, November 08th, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA. The surviving core members of Soundgarden were in attendance to receive that honor and also took to the stage for performances of their songs “Rusty Cage” (feat. Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless) and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam) and “Black Hole Sun” (feat. Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains, Brandi Carlile and ex-Soundgarden bassist Hiro Yamamoto).
Last weekend’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony was livestreamed across Disney+ and will air on ABC on January 01st, 2026.
