Thrash metal outfit Toxic Holocaust have been forced to withdraw from their planned tour with Death Angel, Lions At The Gate and Misfire due to injury. The thrash metal band’s vocalist/guitarist Joel Grind announced yesterday (October 31st) that he recently broke his hand and requires time to recover. His statement reads as follows:

“HEY FRIENDS.

I’M SORRY TO REPORT THAT TOXIC HOLOCAUST HAS TO PULL OUT OF THE UPCOMING DEATH ANGEL TOUR.

LAST WEEKEND I HAD AN ACCIDENT AT HOME AND BROKE MY HAND. SADLY THAT MEANS I WILL NOT BE HEALED IN TIME FOR THE TOUR. WE HOPE NOTHING BUT AN AWESOME TOUR FOR NOT ONLY DEATH ANGEL. BUT ALSO LIONS AT THE GATE AND MISFIRE. MAKE SURE YOU GO OUT AND SUPPORT AND SHOW THEM SOME LOVE. I AM REALLY SORRY FOR THIS GUYS!!

ONCE I’M RECOVERED WE WILL BE WORKING ON SOME PLANS FOR 2026 AS WELL AS UPDATES ON THE NEW TOXIC RECORD. …YES.. .THAT IS STILL COMING.

LOVE TO ALL.
JOEL

Vio-lence have thus been added to the bill in place of Toxic Holocaust, with Death Angel stating the following yesterday of that run, which will find them playing their third album, 1990’s “Act III“, in full each night.

“Due to unfortunate circumstances Toxic Holocaust will no longer be able to take part in the upcoming Death Angel Act III American Tour.
However..

We’d like to Thank our friends and Bay Area Thrash brothers Vio-lence for stepping up on such short notice and more than filling in that gap!

This will be the first time that Death Angel and Vio-lence have ever toured together!

That coupled with us celebrating 35 years of Act III by playing it in its entirety every night is reason enough not to miss this tour!”
