Crucifiction, the deathcore outfit led by Salem Vex, have a new remix EP titled “WILL2POWER“. That four-song outing reinvents four songs originally found on the band’s debut album “Will To Power” through a lens of jungle, industrial, drum n’ bass and more. A Halloween (October 31st) release date has been set for that effort through Rise Records.
Midnight Nightmare and Vex took on remixing the lead single, “CAGED4EXTERMINATION“, which has been paired with a visualizer overseen by Vex.
Speaking of this revamp, Vex offered:
“This EP felt like the natural evolution of our previous record. Growing up, I was heavily inspired by bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Asking Alexandria. They always released incredible remix albums that expanded on their original work. Creating something similar for our record just felt right. The entire EP came together with close friends, capturing the same chaos and energy as the original while blending in my favorite elements of electronic music.”
