British metalcore group Shields have announced a January 30th release date for their new album “Death & Connection” via Long Branch Records. Today (October 09th) they shared a video for the new single “Wolfskin“, which features a guest spot from Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer, Seven Hours After Violet). When it came to the new album, Shields collectively stated:
“‘Death & Connection‘ is a body of work born from the absence of the people who no longer hold space in our lives. This record was created from a necessity to express and soothe our deepest losses. However, that was never the intention. We simply set out to make an album we wanted to hear.”
“Death & Connection” will feature a trio of guest performers, including “Harvey Freeman of Graphic Nature and Jonathan Finney.
