Irish noise/math rock outfit God Alone have premiered their new track “Tony Gawk“. That song arrives just days ahead of the band’s new album “The Beep Test“, due out this Friday, October 10th, on Prosthetic Records. Vocalist/guitarist Jake O’Driscoll said of it:
“It’s super-fast, and it definitely nods to our mathcore influences. We wanted to make an extremely heavy song. Lyrically, it’s about being really sick. One time when we played a gig in Nottingham, I was very sick because I drank loads. I was so sick I thought I was possessed when I was falling asleep. I was rolling around, and I decided to make up a story about it.”
